Exercises — Week 36: Week 36 — AP Exam Readiness III: Full Practice
2 hands-on tasks. Do them in order; each one feeds the Canvas item it names.
120 min · timed
1. Full-Condition Practice Set
- Set a timer for 60 minutes and complete a teacher-provided multiple-choice section in full exam conditions — no pausing, no phone.
- Set a second timer for 75 minutes and write one free-response essay (synthesis, rhetorical analysis, or argument, as directed by Mr. Gray). Do not exceed either time limit.
- After completion: apply the four-band self-assessment to the essay.
- Write three sentences: (1) your strongest performance area in this practice; (2) your weakest; (3) one specific action you will take to address the weakness before exam day.
- This companion enhances — it does not replace — Mr. Gray's instruction.

2. Final Skill Inventory
- Review what you wrote from Week 11 forward.
- Write five sentences — one for each: the argumentation skill that felt hardest in November and feels natural now; the skill that still requires deliberate attention; the rhetorical device you will use most intentionally in the free-response essays; what you now understand about how persuasion works that you could not have named in September; the sentence you would give your September self about AP Language.
Turn in / bring: Five-sentence final skill inventory.
