1. Fallacy Hunt
- Find a published opinion piece or advertisement that uses at least three identifiable fallacies.
- For each fallacy: name it, quote or closely paraphrase the example, and write one sentence explaining specifically why it is a fallacy.
- Identify which fallacy does the most damage to the overall argument and explain your reasoning.
Turn in / bring: Three labeled fallacies with explanations and one-sentence overall assessment.

2. Fallacy Patching
- Take one of the fallacious arguments you identified in the Fallacy Hunt.
- Rewrite the argument to make the same essential point without the fallacy.
- Write one sentence explaining what you changed and why the revised argument is stronger.
Turn in / bring: Revised argument with one-sentence explanation of the improvement.
