- Find one passage from Douglass's Narrative (1845, public domain) that uses a clear rhetorical strategy.
- Identify the strategy: testimony, allusion, figurative language, or another you can name.
- Write 200–300 words explaining what the strategy is, where it appears, and what effect it produces.
- Quote at least one phrase from the passage.
