1. Sentence Imitation
- Write three model sentences from your reading or from Mr. Gray's examples, each demonstrating a distinct syntactic structure.
- For each model, write one original sentence using completely different content but exactly the same syntax.
- Label the syntactic device each model uses (appositive, participial phrase, periodic, cumulative, anaphora, antithesis).
Turn in / bring: Three labeled imitation sentences submitted per Mr. Gray's directions (due 2026-11-06).
